EVERYTHING IS IMPROVING, ALL OF THE TIME

Everything is temporary.
Nothing in this material world lasts forever,
nor does it remain the same,
as much as we try to make it so.

Those who look back longing for a 'better' time
are delusional from romanticizing the past.

Things are constantly evolving and improving, 
evolution is a perfect example of this.

If things appear worse, it's only because 
one is focusing on the events of the present 
with fixed eyes from the past.

Of course things seem worse to those who now
must share privileges and rights
which were heretofore, exclusively reserved
for a specific group.  

Those who would return society to conditions
of the past, aren't realistic, for even if one 
could re-institute conditions which previously
favored one person over another, 
the outcome wouldn't live up to the fantasy.

What is past is past and existed when it did
because of a collection of events, thoughts and physical
realities, perfectly synchronized to produce the conditions 
creating an environment for the change 
which occurred. 

It cannot ever be undone, 
so to be most productive, we must be 
forward focused and cultivate acceptance.
